Vineyard Tour

“I love walking through the vineyards during the harvest season and tasting the different grape varieties as they ripen.”

This is how Salvatore Ferragamo describes it, and it is from this spirit that our experience was born: a guided immersion among the rows of our vineyards to explore the places where our wines are born, to get in touch with the origins of our winemaking history, and to appreciate the subtle differences between the terroirs that make each label unique.

Art gallery

Born with the intent to celebrate the history of wine and its deep connection to human life, since 2008 Il Borro has opened its doors to the Wine & Art Gallery, leading visitors on an immersive experience in art, culture, and wine centered on Ferruccio Ferragamo’s extraordinary private collection. This is not just a simple exhibition, but a true journey through time that retraces the centuries and key figures of Il Borro’s history, through wine-themed engravings and lithographs, offering a unique perspective on wine culture and the symbolic and social value of wine.

The historic Il Borro cellar, dating back to the 18th century, has been restored while preserving its original architecture. Today, it is connected to a modern 3,000 sqm winemaking complex, perfectly integrated into the landscape thanks to traditional materials and harmonious design. A 300-meter underground tunnel links the two spaces. Since 2020, the cellar also includes areas dedicated to amphora winemaking and the traditional method, reflecting an innovative agricultural estate that is constantly growing.
